1. Turnaround times
Standard delivery for certified document translation is 24–48 business hours for standard documents of up to 5 pages (up to 250 words per page). Larger volumes, complex, technical, or specialist legal documents may take longer and will be quoted individually before payment is accepted.
We will always confirm a realistic delivery date before work begins. If we cannot meet your deadline, we will tell you before accepting payment — not after.
Rush service: Expedited delivery is available subject to translator availability and carries an additional surcharge. Same-day service is not offered as a standard option under any circumstances. Requests for 2-hour or same-day turnaround cannot be accommodated.
Delivery method: The standard deliverable is a sealed and signed digital document delivered by email, and it is included in the price. A physical sealed original is also available on request: it is collected in person in downtown Asunción by prior arrangement. Any transport cost is the client's responsibility — whether you collect it yourself or arrange a courier or delivery service. We do not post or courier documents at our own expense.
2. Payment
Full payment is required upfront before any translation work begins. For volume orders (6+ pages), a 50% deposit may be requested with the balance due on delivery. Payment confirms your acceptance of these terms.
Payments are processed via Wise or other methods agreed at time of booking. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.
3. Revisions
One round of revisions is included with every certified translation, provided the revision request relates to an error in the translation itself (not a change in the source document). Revision requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery. Requests submitted after this window will be treated as new orders.
4. Cancellations
Refunds are not available once translation work has commenced. If you cancel before work begins, a full refund will be issued. If you wish to cancel mid-project on a multi-page bundle, you will be charged for pages already completed at the single-page rate.
5. Confidentiality
All documents and their contents are handled with strict professional confidentiality. Your files are used solely for the purpose of delivering the requested translation or interpretation service and are never shared with third parties. We comply with all applicable privacy obligations.
6. Accuracy & our responsibility
All certified translations are reviewed, sealed, and signed by a sworn translator registered with Paraguay's Corte Suprema de Justicia. We perform our work to the highest professional standard for legal and institutional acceptance in Paraguay.
Paraguay Language Partners is not liable for errors resulting from illegible, incomplete, damaged, or low-resolution source documents. Clients are responsible for providing clear, complete originals. We are not responsible for decisions made by third-party institutions (immigration offices, courts, universities) regarding the acceptance of translated documents.
7. Document requirements
- Documents must be legible and complete
- Scanned copies should be high-resolution (300 DPI or higher recommended)
- Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, PNG
- Documents in languages other than English or Spanish are not accepted without prior arrangement
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Paraguayan courts.

1. Plazos de entrega
El plazo estándar de entrega para traducción certificada es de 24 a 48 horas hábiles para documentos estándar de hasta 5 páginas (hasta 250 palabras por página). Volúmenes mayores y documentos complejos, técnicos o legales especializados pueden demorar más y se cotizarán individualmente antes de aceptar el pago.
Siempre confirmaremos un plazo de entrega realista antes de comenzar el trabajo. Si no podemos cumplir con su fecha límite, se lo informaremos antes de aceptar el pago, no después.
Servicio urgente: La entrega acelerada está disponible según la disponibilidad del traductor y conlleva un cargo adicional. El servicio en el mismo día no se ofrece bajo ninguna circunstancia. No se pueden atender solicitudes de entrega en 2 horas o en el mismo día.
Forma de entrega: La entrega estándar es un documento digital sellado y firmado, enviado por email, y está incluida en el precio. También se puede solicitar una copia física sellada: se retira en persona en el centro de Asunción, coordinando previamente. El costo del transporte corre por cuenta del cliente — ya sea que lo retires vos mismo o que contrates un servicio de mensajería o delivery. No enviamos documentos por correo o mensajería a nuestro cargo.
2. Pago
Se requiere el pago completo por adelantado antes de comenzar cualquier trabajo de traducción. Para pedidos de volumen (6+ páginas), se puede solicitar un depósito del 50% con el saldo a pagar contra entrega. El pago confirma la aceptación de estos términos.
3. Revisiones
Cada traducción certificada incluye una ronda de revisiones, siempre que la solicitud se refiera a un error en la traducción (no a un cambio en el documento original). Las solicitudes deben enviarse dentro de los 7 días calendario posteriores a la entrega.
4. Cancelaciones
No se realizan reembolsos una vez iniciado el trabajo de traducción. Si cancela antes de que comience el trabajo, se emitirá un reembolso completo. Si desea cancelar a mitad de un paquete de varias páginas, se le cobrará por las páginas ya completadas a la tarifa de página individual.
5. Confidencialidad
Todos los documentos y su contenido se manejan con estricta confidencialidad profesional. Sus archivos se utilizan exclusivamente para prestar el servicio solicitado y nunca se comparten con terceros.
6. Exactitud y responsabilidad
Todas las traducciones certificadas son revisadas, selladas y firmadas por un traductor público matriculado inscripto ante la Corte Suprema de Justicia del Paraguay.
Paraguay Language Partners no se responsabiliza por errores derivados de documentos originales ilegibles, incompletos, dañados o de baja resolución. No somos responsables de las decisiones de instituciones terceras (migraciones, tribunales, universidades) respecto a la aceptación de documentos traducidos.
7. Requisitos del documento

- Se recomienda una resolución de 300 DPI o superior para escaneos
- Formatos aceptados: PDF, JPG, PNG
- No se aceptan documentos en idiomas distintos al inglés o español sin acuerdo previo
8. Ley aplicable
Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de la República del Paraguay. Cualquier disputa se resolverá bajo la jurisdicción de los tribunales paraguayos.
